Four pockets utilitarian jackets, such as Belstaff‘s iconic Roadmaster jacket, are great wardrobe essentials. They are versatile, can be mixed to create many different styles and very practical. A Roadmaster jacket is something that I wear very often on a day to day basis because my profession requires me to work outdoor most of the time. So a jacket that is lightweight, windproof, waterproof and has many pockets and storage spaces is definitely a plus. Most of the times, I would just wear these jackets with a pair of jeans.
However, these four pockets utilitarian jackets look just as cool with summery floral dresses too. In fact, they add the cool factor to an otherwise very feminine and basic spring/summer outfit. During London Fashion Week Mens SS18, I decided to experiment with this idea of “How to make the Roadmaster jacket looks feminine?”, and here are the results.
For this outfit, I experimented with the layering of delicate tulle floral dress over a basic slip dress underneath the Roadmaster jacket. The outfit is finished off with a pair of ankle boots and a rucksack. It is all about practicality and comfort, while appearing feminine.
