Something Old, Something Blue

This is the last outfit from my Milan trip.  On this particular day, I actually ran out of things to wear, so had to improvise by turning a cobalt blue DKNY cardigan into an off-the-shoulder, backless top… which turned out pretty well I have to say…

Long flowy cardigan is very versatile item to have in your wardrobe because they can be converted into scarfs, different style tops, and even when worn as a cardigan, one can tie knots to create different shapes etc.  I actually have many colours of these because they are so light and easy to pack for travelling.

Spring is perfect time for off-the-shoulder tops because they can be dressed up and down very easily so can be worn for both daytime stroll and evening drinks in a bar or restaurant.

Here is the details of this outfit and a few alternatives to create the look.

WHAT I WORE

Top: DKNY Cozy Cardigan [Similar Here, and Here, and Here]

Jeans: 7 For All Mankind [Similar Here, and Here, and Here]

Sneakers: Converse [Similar Here, and Here, and Here]

Trench Coat: Burberry

Let me know what you think of them in the comments below!

I am very impressed by this cardi turned top look. Great idea! It is always a headache to bring too many things. Cobalt blue is such a great colour on you btw. x HsinWei
