At Burberry February 2017 Collection Presentation, the emphasis was all about the shoulder. This was exemplified with a finale of one-of-a-kind series of made-to-order only capes that look more like theatrical costume than fashion pieces. Each of them embodied British craftsmanship and influences from traditional British costumes from armours to Elizabethan gowns to contemporary everyday wear. Although they were stunning at the finale worn by all the models, their true beauty were best appreciated when they are seen up close at Makers House, where the whole collection were displayed as art form.
Here are some of the highlights of pieces on display, for those of you who cannot visit Makers House before the exhibition ends on Monday 27th February 2017.
