LFW AW17 Part 5: Day 2 Outfit – Embroidery and Lace

For Day 2 of London Fashion Week AW17, I wanted to try something more feminine.  Recently, Alice and Olivia by Stacey Bendet has become my latest favourite label.  I like the fun, quirky feminine details that are really versatile, and can be worn for both casual and formal looks.  There is a hint of bohemian lifestyle and a sense of humour in her design.

Here I picked a full length lace skirt with Chinoisery embroidery pattern of flowers and birds, paired it with a white lace blouse, a black blazer and a pair of ankle boots, just so I can walk! Well, and also I wanted to dress down.  I love Chinoiseries especially for interiors décor.  In fact, they often feature in my design projects whether it be on the wall as a wallpaper, or on bespoke curtains or sometimes just on free standing screens.  So, in a way, I really like having one to wear too!
