On The Road Again

“Simplicity is the Keynote of all True Elegance” – Coco Chanel

So sorry for disappearing for a few weeks.  Work has been hectic both during and straight after my trip to Paris for the Fashion Week.  Although, I have been keeping up with Instagram posting, I have not had enough time to sit down and write up proper articles on the blog yet.  I will definitely share with you all about these adventures both Paris and Vienna for Olafur Eliasson’s exhibition at Winter Palace in the very near future, but since so many people have been asking me for more photos on my outfit and places I visited in Paris, here is a little sneak peak of one of the outfits I wore on the trip.

Most of you know how much I love timeless elegance.  Simple, practical and comfortable clothes for basic everyday wear are my mantra, so of course, for this little trip, I aim for outfits that are appropriate for any locations and occasions, so that my luggage is as light as possible.  For example, the Uniqlo x Ines De La Fressange white jacket with navy blue piping detail is one of my favourite Spring jackets at the moment because of its classic and neutral style.  It is also very parisienne, so I thought it is a perfect choice for this adventure.  It complements both casual and formal looks, so I only needed to pack one jacket for the whole trip.  To keep things casual and comfortable for the Eurostar train journey, I paired the jacket with simple white blouse with grey graphic details and a pair of comfortable black culottes, a pair of comfy slip-ons for extensive walking et voila… Ready to explore Paris in style in no time at all.

Below are some photos from leaving my Office to my arrival at the hotel in Paris, but more on that later.  My apology for such a terribly brief post this time.  Today, I am still in Milan for Salone Del Mobile and is running around for several meetings for my architectural and interior design projects, so multi tasking on my lunch break right now to catch up with you all…

Ciao for now and hope you enjoy the photos below ^-^

It can be a real challenge to pack versatile clothing especially when going to different climates as part of 1 trip. I tend to stick to neutrals and classic pieces when I can too. I like the uniqueness of your luggage, I’ll bet the orange colour makes it easy to spot amongst the sea of black luggage. Good idea 🙂
