Christmas Jumper

Merry Christmas everybody!  I am so glad that the Holiday Season is finally here.  Initially, I was going to go back to Thailand for family gathering and a little sun, sea and sand.  Unfortunately, there are some loose ends at work which I need to sort out over the holidays period, so that 2016 can be all about moving forwards at full speed…  So instead, I stuck here in London, which is not as bad as it sounds because I did manage to squeeze in a fun little special project, to be revealed in January 2016…  Besides, this year’s winter is very mild, so it is not at all miserable to be here…

Apart from the joy of mulled wine and Christmas Feast, what I love the most about this time of year is to be able to wear my Christmas Jumpers… The baggier, the chunkier, the better!  My favourite is definitely this giant Kitty Jumper from Paul and Joe Sister.  I do not have reindeer ones, I am afraid.

Today I took my giant kitty out to Covent Garden for a little bit of Christmas Sale bargain hunting, but I just could not resist visiting my all time favourite little alleyway in the middle of Covent Garden’s Theatre District called Goodwin’s Court, where I used to spend every single day for three months during Christmas 2013 and New Year 2014 to finish the restauran project, PACATA, on the adjacent street of New Row.  It is amazing how time flies…  It has already been a year since my daily visit to this gritty gas-lit alleyway, so much has changed… both to this little street and to my life too.  I did not even know that Goodwin’s Court used to be called Fishers Alley until I spotted a bronze plaque on one of the walls noting its history.

2015 has been a year of reflection and major adjustments to so many big things in my life…  Looking back, I am quite pleased that I managed to tie up many loose ends with only a few left to go, which I am sure I will be able to finish them all by New Year’s Eve…  2016, I’m ready for you!!
