Next stop is my hometown, London… Really glad that the hemline of Spring/Summer 2016 skirts are heading towards Midi and full length this time. I have been getting bored of seeing so many mini skirts from last few seasons because although they look amazing on models, mere mortals like me mostly cannot wear them in the hope to look as chic, with short footballer calves and all. It has been a little difficult to find long dresses and long skirts in shops for the past few seasons, and I do need to stock up on long skirts, so I am looking forwards to next Spring already. My favourite shows and moments so far are:
My love affair with Burberry goes way back, and amazingly every season Christopher Bailey always manages to innovate and surprise in ways that I never thought possible. For the SS16 collection though, those nylon backpack with monogrammed initials are a big YES for me. They are the perfect size, not too small and not too masculine, but casual, functional and elegant, all at the same time, if that is even possible! I need them with my initials, like, now! Floaty satin trench coats and geometric lace dresses and long flowing satin skirts are also a great combination for everyday wear in any occasions, but that backpack is an absolute must have for next Spring for sure. FUNCTIONREGALIA is definitely my mantra from now on!

I have always thought that Foster + Partners buildings would make a fantastic venue for fashion shows, and Preen has proven just that. The sunny Sunday morning when I woke up to Lace x Leather x Foster + Partners was just so fantastic that I was completely inspired afterwards. What started off as pretty and feminine in delicate floral pastels soon morphed into darker, edgier and more masculine, which I really enjoyed. There was something very cool about a combination of lace and leather with cut out silver ring hardware details.
