Sloane Square Underground Station: Not A Typical Journey To Work

When I looked up to the sky at Sloane Square Underground Station, I just couldn’t help but realised how beautiful this little old establishment was.  Just another weekday morning, on my way to the construction site in Covent Garden…

The station somehow seemed to have come alive, speeding fast, disappearing into the black tunnel with stripes of bold green wall, bright blue pipes, neon yellow and white lines on the platform edges offset against the grey sky, rows of faded old bricks and aged steel railway tracks…  all heading in one direction, only there was nothing moving, except the soft falling snow and the silent commuters waiting for the train…
